If you see any other DLL files, delete them. The only DLL file you should see in that folder is: NPSWF32_11_3_300_262.dll If you're on 64 bit Windows, it's located in this folder: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash If you see anything other than, Flash Player Version: 11.3.300.262 or newer, find the old Adobe: Flash DLL file (.dll) and manually delete it. You can use this webpage to verify what version of Flash you're running:

Install the new Adobe: Flash and verify if you are using the latest version of Flash. Use Adobe's Flash uninstaller to remove the old version of Flash. If any of them are still running, use "End Process" on them. Use Windows Task Manager and check under "Processes" to make sure these programs aren't still running in the background. Close all web browsers, close Steam, close Skype and close anything else that might use Flash. Make sure you're using Adobe: Flash 11.3.300.262 or newer.īefore you install the latest version of Adobe: Flash, make sure you properly uninstall the old version. To test if Firefox or SeaMonkey 2.10.1 have any problems with the latest version of Flash, I opened them both up and ran 7 Flash videos on Youtube in each browser at the same time.

If you're using any version of Adobe: Flash older than version: 11.3.300.262, you should update to the latest version. If you're using any version of SeaMonkey that's older than 2.10.1, you should update to the latest version.

If you're using any version of Firefox that's older than 13.01, you should update to the latest version. I know people who are using Firefox 13.01 & the latest version of Adobe: Flash who aren't having any problems either. I'm using Firefox 14 & SeaMonkey 2.10.1 and I'm not having any problems with either of the browsers or with Adobe: Flash.
